Trip to the Nzulezo Village on Stilts
From us only 45 minutes to drive through very beautiful countryside, crossing rivers, small towns, different botanical and interessting land scapes. In Beyin where the Amansuri Wetlands are, you will be paddeled (you could help if you want) along a river, through the mangroves till you reach an almost untouched and beautiful sweet water lake. This ride takes about 1 h to the 600 years old village on stilts. You will greet the chief, give some donation for the scools, have a drink or a small talk with the people there before you turn back home. All in all it takes about 5 hs.

Boat trip on the River Ankobra
Diving into the mysterious world of West African flora and fauna. The impressive ride on the Ankobra River, through the mangrove jungle, the nursery for many species, is a truly impressive experience. The cries of the many species of birds will accompany you then glide on the water, you can taste the life of the locals and their routines first hand. You spend your break away from civilization on an original Ghanaian market. The colorful and bustle and the originality of the offered goods, you will surely amaze.
There is a small mangrove tour it last about 3 h and a big tour from morning 7 h to 18 h at night.

Slave Fortress-Axim
Axim bears witness to one of the darkest chapters of Ghana's colonial past. From the portals of the Slave fortress there, thousands of African men, women and children were shipped across the Atlantic into the brutal fangs of slavery.

Ankasa Reserve

Climb the gentle slope of the Ankobra Beach mountain and you are rewarded with a most glorious view of the surrounding ocean which embraces the mountain from 3 sides. The steady incline warms you with 'jungle sensation and cools you with wonderous West African plant life. Once at the summit you will see the fundament ruins of a French 17th century slave fortress. The fortress would never be erected.
Enjoy the fiew from top of the montain about 60 km far. Unbelievable Beautyful - it will leave you breathless!

Ankobra Village River Walk
A walk along the Ankobra River spirits you into the daily life of local Ghanaians. You will meet roadside vendors plying the wares from large baskets and carts. You will see banana plants and gaze out over feilds of cassava, perhaps a stagnant pool where a vulture waits to get lucky. This trail leads you to bridge from where you have a fine view of the Ankobra River,with its grand lagoon and the small fishing village of Ankobra. We suggest good sun protection for this tour as the trail is virtually without shade.
